Letter from the Executive Director, Dalton Sprouse:

New horizons and lasting traditions - such a fitting theme for this evening’s festivities as we celebrate another year of PHEF Scholars! Our organization has worked through some challenging times, however, I am confident that the future of our great organization will be brighter than we ever imagined. It is because of people just like you who have continued to support PHEF and everything we believe in, and for that, we thank you!

Our organization continues to rebuild and I want to assure you that we have not lost sight of those who have laid the groundwork in the past. It is because of the hard work and preparation of many community members that we have managed to overcome so many obstacles in our path. It brings me great joy to watch the growth and camaraderie that has developed in our board room as we have all been asked to work harder, raise our hands higher, and become a better board over the last year. We truly owe a great deal of gratitude our recent Interim Director Judge Joe Ulibarri for stepping in and quickly helping us overcome insurmountable odds. His distinct leadership was of paramount importance to us as we worked to re-establish our worthy organization.

I want you to know that the future of PHEF is bright and that our Board of Directors is committed to each and every one of our students and donors who continue to believe in what we do. Thank you for your continued support and belief in the Pueblo Hispanic Education Foundation!
