Low to moderate income students, planning to attend college are encouraged to apply for the Hispanic OutReach In Search Of New Scholars (HORISONS) and Grooming Role Models for Advanced Degrees (GRAD) scholarships sponsored by the Pueblo Hispanic Education Foundation.  Applications are available at the PHEF Office, room 325, of the Administration building at CSU-Pueblo.  Scholarships are for the 2006-07 academic year.   Applications for the HORISONS and GRAD Scholarships are due March 10, 2006 for students planning to attend any of the University of Colorado schools and applicants planning to attend any other college or university must submit their application to PHEF by April 16, 2006. Anyone wanting to apply is encouraged to access the application at www.phef.net   In addition, application forms are available in the scholarship offices of Pueblo Community College and Colorado State University-Pueblo as well as in the counselors offices of local high schools.   For further information, please contact Gloria Gutierrez at the PHEF office at 549-2563.
