APRIL 8: SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION WORKSHOP
Evelyn Flores, President, Pueblo Hispanic Education Foundation Board of Directors, invites all parents and students interested in financing their college education to attend a scholarship application workshop on SATURDAY, APRIL 8, 2006, from 9 A.M. TO 11:30 A.M. at the Youth and Family Academy, 1920 Valley Drive. Flores says, “we know that low to moderate income students want to pursue their education and PHEF is willing to help by providing scholarships, but they must apply to be considered!”
In addition, representatives from College Invest, CSU-Pueblo and Pueblo Community College will be in attendance.
Three scholarships will be given away at the workshop. The deadline for PHEF HORISONS/GRAD scholarships is April 16, 2006.

April 22: "The Pueblo Hispanic Education Foundation is busy gearing up for its second annual golf tournament. This event will be held to raise funds for educational opportunities and programs for Hispanics, other minorities and low-moderate income students.
PHEF's second annual golf tournament is scheduled for Saturday, April 22, 2006 at Hollydot Golf Course, one of Colorado's most beautiful golf courses in Colorado City, Colorado.
Fees to play in the tournament are $80 per person and $320 for a team of 4. Individuals interested in participating in the golf event, may do so by filling out the the attached golf brochure with information and/or contacting the PHEF Office at 549-2563 by April 14, 2006. Sponsorship opportunities are available."
